2. Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Get Started

From the NoteX main dashboard, click the Record button (the blue icon in the left-hand menu) to open the recording control panel.

Step 2: Configure Your Settings

In the Record Audio window, check the following options:

• Live Transcription: Toggle the switch to the right (it will turn blue) to enable real-time scrolling text.

• Translation Language: Select the language you want the text translated into (e.g., English or Vietnamese).

• Speech Language: Select the source language currently being spoken.

• Folder: Choose where you want to save your recording.

• Audio Settings: Ensure your microphone is connected and receiving a signal.

Step 3: Record and Monitor

Click Start Record. The screen will split into two sections:

• Left Side: Displays the original transcript of the speech.

• Right Side: Displays the live translation in your chosen language.

Step 4: Finish and Save

While recording, you can click Pause or Reset to start over. Once finished, click Create Note to save the entire transcript and translation to your NoteX account.

3. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Can I choose multiple translation languages at once?

Yes. To ensure the highest accuracy, the system currently supports up to five (5) translation languages per recording session.

What happens if my microphone disconnects mid-session?

No need to restart! You can go to Audio Settings in the bottom-left corner of the recording screen to re-select your input device and continue.

What factors affect translation quality?

Accuracy depends on your internet speed, audio volume, and the clarity of the speaker. We recommend using a high-quality microphone for the best results.
